Scheduled Maintenance
Vehicle maintenance means keeping all systems and features functioning as closely as possible to the manufacturer's original design. The intended purpose of any vehicle maintenance program is to return or maintain the maximum amount of performance, reliability and service life.
Because any machine that receives use will also accumulate wear, vehicle maintenance should be an ongoing process that begins the day a vehicle is driven off the dealer's lot and ends many years later with an appointment with the crusher at the wrecking yard. Over a vehicle's life span, it will have an assortment of maintenance needs.
Almost every year, each and every different make and model of vehicle is produced with a different maintenance schedule. Which means there hundreds of different schedules and there can be big differences in service intervals between different vehicles. One car may need the spark plugs changed at 30,000 miles another may not need them until 100,000 miles. Use the owner's manual as a starting place for scheduled maintenance, then discuss your specific vehicle with one of our Technicians to create a schedule of maintenance that's right for you.
